I get where this comment comes from, but it's wrong too. CRT is real, and you can easily find a real definition for it because it's been around for decades. I only bring this up because I think it's important to note that these people aren't just making up a boogeyman. They are taking something that has been accepted in academic study since the 70s and acting like it's some new extreme thing. Most of the shit they bring up has absolutely nothing to do with CRT.

People are getting into petty disputes now that are based in their lack of understanding of how words work. CRT is a framework for evaluating how laws in the U.S. have contributed to inequities that nonwhites have faced and continue to face. The word "theory" doesn't pertain to the factual ways the U.S. has injected race into its laws. The theory is how they are tying it altogether and the conclusions they are making about the implications of those race based laws on citizens today.

Some of these people are letting the racists draw them into playing this game. They shouldn't be quibbling about dumb shit like that because any arguments serves to suggest that there is legitimacy in the CRT debate at all. There isn't. It's all bullshit.
