Civil Rights Act benefits 'everybody' in 2025 when it was setup for ONLY BLACK FOLKS, those days that Civil Rights benefit blacks the MOST ARE OVER.

Civil Rights were geared towards black folks, that was our plate of food, but in 2025, that food has been shared with others, and others have tried to use it for their own gains for their group of people.
Trump had to remind folks that the 14th amendment was for FBAs.
Many other groups are using Civil Rights to gain a foot ahead. Gain a foot ahead of the very folks who the shit was actually intended for and who fought for.
I don't care about "everybody" else, I'm for black folks. You keep making this a "we are all in this together" ordeal. If it doesn't benefit black folks the most, and we are the least group of people who are getting the benefits from the DEI setup, whether it's hiring, discrimination, disability, etc, the shit is not for me to be crying over and IT"S NOT WORKING IMO. I think Knock's point is that DEI doesn't benefit us. The small percentage who's reflected are usually LGBT, and it's just a fake way to use us to push agendas that don't help in any meaningful way. We've had 60 years of white people using the most powerful civil rights movement in history that WE made happen, not them....to push their "other" agendas. It's why during every election cycle some of us ask what will this candidate do for US. Every other group gets outreach, but we get told it's or fault that only 80% of black men voted for Kamala. The whole thing is disgusting
The LGBT crowd has a long history of being racist, but the past 20 years try to piggyback on our movement. Pre 9/11 we couldn't catch a damn cab in NY, but after you had muslims acting like their with our struggles and as if they weren't racist to us. Latin America is racist to even their own who are dark skinned, but again when immigration popped off as an issue they jumped on our bandwagon. And the biggest of them all white women are the one who have benefited from AA, DEI, and every other agenda pushed by a 90% margin. That's who yall are fighting for 24/7 in most of these threads.
It's interesting to see the way politics have changed from the old IC days in the 2000s. People were more clear on the fact that the powers that be are not looking out for us. That black excellence is the goal and supporting our own businesses and ventures. At NO point will a majority population pump up a minority one in any nation, it's not gonna happen, why the fuck would they? Stop putting energy in a failed agenda that doesn't even help us, and use that towards new things that actual will.

No one was telling him that Blacks benefitted the most from DEI, I think we all can agree on that. What he was not getting is taking away DEI is just a stepping stone towards taking away greater protections that do greatly effect Blacks in this country.

idk, to me it's always been a dead issue. DEI is a recent thing and we were fine before it, and will be fine without it. The protections we need are in education where schools in our communities just keep getting worse, that's a huge growing problem. And we need to unite and support our own businesses, hire our own, and play the game everyone else does. White policy makers will never look out for us. Even when we had a black president that didn't happen
He wants to get rid of the entire Dept of Education and the few protections that black and poor kids do have as far as school funding is wrapped up in DEI. DEI is more then just diversity training and minority employee quotas. I do agree we definitely need more unification as far as supporting our own businesses and neighborhoods, but we also can't sit back cover our eyes and let things slide politically.

Ok let's use the school example. Schools are ass okay, but the current administration wants to take away funding for school lunches. So let's say that funding is gone, now not only are the school still ass, there are going to be children who go hungry and there a multiple studies linking lack of nutrition and kids ability to learn during the school day. Now our schools are worse...now we have work on making sure there's money to feed the kids instead of other ways of school improvement. Then on top that now the administration is embolden to take away whatever funding they like because no one opposed taking away funds for school lunch.
Getting rid of DEI is not going to be the end of it. Trump feels like the period after civil right was 60 years of hatred and prejudice for white people. He has said that on TV. There is no fear mongering going on here.
