Man at this point, I loathe the ads. I hated when they put Bosch legacy on their "free" streaming service cause it comes with ads

The selection is decent but you'd never know with the interface. The interface just focuses on trying to get you to buy movies and other subscriptions. It's nasty. If you don't go in with a specific show or film in mind it feels like a chore.

Amazon is now gonna add ads to their videos. You can pay the increase in price not to recieve them. They got some nerve. Their catalog is not that good. On top of that, they aint hurting for money like these other streaming platforms. People stick with their prime memberships because of the shopping. They really havent experienced an extreme drop in membership like all the other streaming platforms

Well speaking for me I’m not really a tv show watcher so I’m going based on movies mostly

I also have 3 sub subscriptions attached to it in paramount+, NBA league pass, and HIDIVE for anime you can’t watch on Crunchyroll

Makes it a very convenient and good centered place for content

But I think Amazon original movies are just flat out better than say Netflix’s

It already felt like most of the content was behind a pay wall or contained ads. Like others, the streaming service came with free two day shipping. With all the ads and price increases, I've gone back to being a pirate. I just can't stand ads and I don't watch enough content to warrant paying extra for Ad free. HBO Max may get the ax next. Prime will be the last one standing because it's connected to Amazon shipping.
