That was my first question upon hearing that clip.

Also, another flaw with his reasoning is that this isn't the 90s. Back then, an artist had to get his local area poppin to justify people on the national scene checking for them. Now, with the internet, artists can create a big buzz and not be the end all be all in their hometown. The fact is that Griselda is well known enough for Flex not to dismiss them. If he doesn't want to play them, that's his right, but people can't make the argument that Griselda hasn't put in the work or got enough of a buzz to warrant his attention.
 
Bruh I do t think k this about Griselda being on the radio. His gripe was about breaking new artists. Flex said it’s not up to radio to break new acts anymore that’s for youtubet
 
Now that I think about it, Flex doesn't have to play Griselda. He can play whatever he wants.

I'm sure every rapper would like for Flex to play their music.

But there's no rule that says; Funkmaster Flex has to play Griselda.

Well shit, I don't see what the beef is about then. If Flex feels like it's not his job to break new artists anymore, that's what it is. They can't be mad about that. I thought the beef was that Flex was still breaking artists but they felt that, for some reason, he was biased against them.

Im saying if we arnt sure if a somewhat popular rap act even get plays in their city, odds are they arnt, because thats not something you should have to normally questions. Thats like asking if an ATL group that people know about, even get support in ATL. Where your from sound be your base that everyone knows about.

Internet fans from all over seem to be the ones carrying Griselda. They dont seem to have any region really on lock

I feel like no one was thinking about that question till he mentioned it. Cuz lets be real, no one really talking about them like that unless they get in some shit outside of music.
 
Uppin this thread because this morning while riding into work I had my windows down and Spotify on shuffle. Pulled into the garage where I park at and some nurses (all black women) was waiting on the shuttle to take them to the hospital. Buffs v wires came on in my whip, immediately changed it. Cant be known for being scary.

We must stay focused brothers.
