OPINION contradictions and lies! exposing the democratic party

To be honest, I don't how the whole "Don't vote" strategy would help black people. I get the logic, but I don't think it's thought through clearly. Republicans are bad for anyone in the middle class and below. Most African Americans fall in that group. So while Dems aren't don't do any more specifically for Black people than Reps, we typically do better with them in control. So we aren't helping ourselves by letting Reps take control.

I get the logic behind the strategy, but it only makes sense to me if we are attaching requirements to our votes and then abstaining if those requirements are met. Like Black people should be pressuring Biden to get some things done now and telling him our 2024 vote depends on him getting those things done.
You do not get the logic if you're still fearmongering republicans as the only reason to vote democrat. To truly get it means you're not afraid of them and understand that democrats are EQUALLY harmful as they are. I mean gotdamn, look at my last 2 posts in this thread and tell me the democrats are the people Black ppl should be supporting

It's not fearmongering to state objective facts. Lower classes as a whole do worse under Rep leadership, and unfortunately black people still disproportionately make up those lower classes. Maybe you're right that taking that hit is necessary to make progress, but anyone pushing a strategy has to be honest about the drawbacks and benefits of the strategy.

The Dems are terrible, but they are not equally harmful as Reps. That's demonstrably false. If you have to lie to push your strategy, you don't have much faith in it. Again, I'm not against walking away from the Dems. I just haven't seen a good argument for how it would actually benefit Black people. I'm guessing that the idea is that the Dems will take a fall and then come running back to Black people so they can win again. I'm not 100% sure that would even happen. There are other demographics in this country the Dems could court that might be easier to win over.

Either way, just telling black people not to vote for Dems is dumb. Black people need to be more organized and thoughtful than that. If we're going to refrain from voting for the Dems, it should come as part of an ultimatum with us walking away after they've failed to live up to our demands. We can't even get on board together to make actual consistent demands, and that's a problem.

They already failed to live up to our demands. That already happened. We walk away now.

When did black people get on a similar page and make demands of Biden? Black people basically gave him a free ride to the White House based on nothing more than hopes and dreams.

Don't get me wrong, some people, mostly the black power crowd, made demands, but those people aren't plugged into the political arena enough to matter. Nobody in power gives a fuck what Umar or Tariq think. We need people with some actual influence to make demands and that hasn't happened because a lot of the people we have in power are puppets.

We started "no tangible no vote" in 2020. Ice Cube tried to negotiate. The dems saw it and carried on with kamala saying we're not doing anything specifically for black people and biden saying if you don't vote for me you ain't black. They acknowledged our demands and ignored them in 2020 because they could. Because they know the black community isn't gonna do anything to hold them accountable..like withholding the vote

You, inori and yall are advocating for doing the exact same thing as 2020 and all the years prior: Do exactly what dems want us to do and do exactly what dems expect us to do and then threaten them after they get what they want. Nah. At this point, we'd rather watch their party crumble and that's the difference.. yall still are more afraid of the idea of republicans in power. But in reality there's nothing trump, Deklantis or maga can do that's worse than giving BILLIONS to Ukraine, giving illegals more rights than black people and promoting men as women. Like, if trump was doing those things during his 4 years black people would have had a huge problem with it.

Keeping republicans out is simply not enough incentive. We are ready to vote FOR something, not against something else

If we do the exact same thing we should expect the exact same result

I'm not advocating for doing the same thing.

Biden never should have been elected in the primary. Black people in SC failed when they rallied to make that happens. We had already lost by the time the general election came around. Biden and Kamala were a trash ticket. I didn't vote for them in 2020, so I'm definitely not telling anyone to vote for them in 2024.

I just think the "No Vote" crowd are overselling this strategy. If you want to change it up because the old way hasn't worked, that's cool, but to me this idea hasn't really been thought out too well. As far as I see, other than being able to give the shitty Dems the middle finger, there really isn't any upside to it for Black people. You guys are assuming that the Dems will come running back to us, which I'm not sure is true. I mean the Reps have been gerrymandering the fuck out of states just to reduce the significance of the black vote and the Dems haven't even fought that hard against it in a lot of places. They really don't give a fuck. If black people don't turn out for them, they'll just promise immigration reform or some more pro-LBGTQ shit and get some new drones. The corruption in our government isn't as easily beaten as some of you seem to think it will be.

When going along to get along goes wrong

Again, the trans movement is another form of white supremacy

Supporting this is equal to supporting maga

See, this is what i mean. To support these people means you have to sacrifice your integrity like the plantation standout @Chicity has done

He sees the dems cosigning degenerate behavior that doesn't benefit black people at all, but all he can do go along with it

Nice trick @Chicity 👏🏽 bravo

Since you wanna come in here cheerleading and editing posts let's have a civilized discussion about your support for this particular form of white supremacy...

Nothing for your race has changed but you're championing these people, banjo in hand. We're being choked out on subway cars and shot through closed doors while biden pals around with drag queens... what's up?

Serious question, what made you think I came in here to talk or discuss anything with you?

Well because you reaffirmed your plantation loyalty to undermine my post. I mean, if you came here only to post a gif and not have discourse you're just a 40 year old troll cooning it up for kicks

If he ever gets momentum, they will just keep him off the balot like they did the green party. They only need 5% of the vote to get federal funding.

He's actually running under the Green Party now:

Good shit. As his candidacy picks up steam needs to keep the word reparations in his mouth, if he really wants that grassroots support

Hopefully he sticks with it until the end and doesn't pull out of the race.

The DNC's definitely gonna try to pressure him to drop out though.
