This is a distraction from the agenda. Reparations should be lineage based.

Immigrants from the Caribbean need to seek reparations from the country that enslaved them. They are not entitled to any claim for descendants of precivil war ancestry.

The fact they gained citizenship through immigration and naturalization act during the civil rights movement without have to do much, you'd think they would be more supportive. I don't recall any other group considered 3/5 of a person.

I'm tired of other groups trying to piggyback off our plight for their own self interest

As i've said here before delineating is key for reparations. I've already said a lot of what you said here. The problem is the vast majority of immigrants don't attribute their citizenship to the civil rights era fight which was started by black Americans. Also, they look at reparations as a anti black racism based thing instead of a chattel slavery lineage based thing, which is the more practical way to handle it. As i've told our brother @GNS caribbean and african immigrants should stay on code, support our movement and follow the blueprint to get reparations from their colonizers. Then we will support their movements. But there can't be blanket reparations from America just because you're "black"

So you think a reparations claims based on our ancestors being enslaved entitles you to the claim bc of melanin and shared features you share with us?

I don't recall America practicing chattel slavery outside the mainland. I support reparations for all the diaspora but from their prospective countries who implemented the practice.its only fair.
