There has some strong implications in the first movie than Zamundan royals enjoyed a little too much the physicalities of the services offered by the servantmaids charged of the princely bathing (today, it would be qualified of statuory rape for our contemporary sensitivities in Western countries) . King Jaffe Joffer himself confided to his son that he'd lost his virginity after having himself had sex with the bathing servantmaids and asked to Akeem if he did so.

Given that Akeem never answered it, we assumed that he was a virgin up until his consummate marriage with Lisa MacDowell. We never knew about his sexual antics or lack thereof pre-film, neither about the interlude at N.-Y. .

Maybe after the fact she was trying to contact him but the king didn’t let him know he just got married and maybe he on some he’s sewed his wild oats that’s all it was and threw some money at her. There’s ways to explain it

But in the movie, he was gung-ho on finding a wife, not just fucking bitches until that time came. So I don’t see how he had sex with anyone else.

Dude landed, got a cut, rented an apartment, got a job, fell in love, and moved back to Zamunda.

Only way they make this make sense is to say he either went back to America after getting married or, like someone else said, he fucked his chambermaid and they moved to America and had the kid.

The only possible explanation is that one of his bathers got pregnant. Those were the only women they acknowledged that Akeem had been w/ until Lisa.

Plus in the first one, they pretty much painted him as the upmost gentleman w/ respect for women. To have him raw dog some one nightstand/side piece ain't even the character they created in the first place.
