CNN Fires Marc Lamont Hill For Speaking The Truth About Israel...

People need to be more responsible with the Christian bashing. Like 90% of the faults people find with Christianity are associated specifically with white Conservative Christians. I can't say I've heard one black Christian promote the idea of protecting Israel to prompt Armageddon.
The westernized version of Christianity that black folks practice every Sunday was beat into them on the plantation by their "Christian" slave masters. The apple never falls to far from the tree. A tree of corruption, ignorance, lies and racism can not produce healthy fruit. It doesn't matter what degree of corrupt Christianity the masses of black folks practice, the root of their spiritual beliefs were forced onto them by racist European slave masters. Western Christianity was never to benefit people of color.

Black Americans follow Christianity largely because of what happened during slavery. You're correct about that. However, you're exaggerating the degree to which whites influenced the black adoption of Christianity. Whites didn't even like worshipping with blacks. That's why church hours used to be referred to as the most segregated time in America. Whites also feared blacks using Christianity as a vehicle for rebellion. That's why they created the Slave's Bible for blacks. Anyone who's ever been to a black and a white church knows they are different, especially historically speaking. And you can't really say it never benefitted black people since southern preachers pretty much ran the Civil Rights movement and used churches as the vehicle to drive the movement.

Lol at I'm "exaggerating the degree to which whites influenced the black adoption of Christianity." There was no "degree" of adaptation. You either accepted white jesus or you died. The only "degree" was 100% acceptance of the slave master's religion or death. The good "christian" slave master didn't allow blacks to only accept christianity to a certain "degree". It was all or nothing. The overwhelming vast majority of our ancestors were not Christians when they were taken aboard the white man's slave ships. It was only after the middle passage and a full generation on the white man's plantation that our people became "Christians" and I use the term loosely. The people who introduced us to their version of Christianity were many things but followers of Jesus who were trying to be Christ like was not one of them.
Ofcourse the early church experience was racist. The ENTIRE CHURCH EXPERIENCE was racist. Kneeling black Christians were literally removed from the alter at northern churches by white "Christians". The mere fact that Richard Allen was "allowed" to start a church for black people based on the mere fact that white Christians didn't want to worship with them should tell you everything you need to know about the white man's version of Christianity.
I don't know what benefit you expect to gain by drinking water from a poisoned well. The last preacher who tried to follow God's true words was Nat Turner and you see what his fellow white Christians did to him. The last southern preacher who tried to use Christianity as a vehicle for change came to realize in his final days that he had integrated his people into a burning building. Not to long after that one of his fellow white jesus worshippers put a bullet into his head. But if you think being allowed to share a toilet seat with a white person in a gas station is beneficial to you than you can always thank white jesus for that.

You wrote all that to say what? By your own acknowledgement blacks and whites didn't worship together. Blacks sang different songs, focused on different verses, and have a different style of worship.

And dumb minimization of what integration means didn't help your argument. Many of us have education, are working jobs, and have avoided trouble in a way that wouldn't have been possible for many prior to the Civil Rights Movement. But keep running with shitty misrepresentations. I'm sure they make sense to you.

Blacks and whites didn't worship together due to the inherent racism that exists at the core of your slave masters religion. Lol at reading different verses. It doesn't matter what verse you read if the entire book was written by spiritually ignorant and irredeemably racist devils. Lol at singing different songs. All of the songs they sang were given to and beaten into them by the slave master. There was not one part of the black Christian experience that was voluntary. Your ignorance of that basic, indisputable and unavoidable FACT is astounding.

Lol at getting an education because of the post civil rights era. Black people were being educated before the civil rights era began. HBCU's began educating the descendants of the enslaved a century and a half ago. As a graduate of Tenn St. Univ which opened in 1912 as the Tennessee Normal School for Negroes, with the specific mission of educating the descendants of former slaves, which stands on the grounds of the old Hadley Plantation I am very well aware of that. Fisk University which opened in 1866 on the grounds of an old Union field hospital from the battle of Nashville during the Civil War is right up the street and Meharry Medical College which opened in 1876 to train black doctors is on the same street in between the two. You must be stupid to think that black people were not seeking and receiving educations until the 1960s. You are a full century late. And that doesn't even include our ancestors who risked their lives learning to read on the good old Christian slave masters plantation hundreds of years ago.

The white man's christianity truly has made you deaf, dumb and blind. Do better

There is no racism inherent to Christianity. If you believe so give me the verse where you're instructed to hate or discriminate based on race. Ain't no point in reading the rest of your text wall if you're lying in the first sentence.
