IMO, 'Classic' in Hip-Hop standards means the music is memorable on a historic level for either the section of Hip-Hop it belongs to (ie., Lil Troy's lane would be Houston/Down South rap) or for Hip-Hop as a whole (Like Pac or BIG's music, didn't matter where they were from or what type of Hip-Hop music they made, the music transcends Hip-Hop). That's the logic used in saying 'Wanna Be A Baller' is classic, it's relative to his lane of music.
