I agree with the overall sentiment here, but this is exactly how misinformation spreads. Fam ain't put an ounce of evidence in there. You can't educate people based on feelings. An email with an image made in canva, with no source or anything on top of a picture of Steve Jobs, and filled with conspiracy buzz words does little to nothing but stroke egos for for the ones embedded in the conspiracies and strike fear into those unaware.

At minimum, take a moment to explain what those sentences mean, why they are bad. Hell present an alternative or two. This is glorified complaining. Ain't no awareness being generated here lol.

A .30-06 hitting him where it did would have done a good amount of damage, but it would have still had enough energy to kill anyone standing right behind him and possibly go through that person.

For those that are unfamiliar with the .30-06: on the left is a .30-06 cartridge, on the right is the .223/5.56 round that an AR-15 shoots. The .30-06 is a 3-4 times heavier round with far more powder behind it. It hits with significantly more kinetic energy than an AR round, especially at long distances, on the order of 2-3 times as much kinetic energy which is why its one of the go-to rounds for hunting while 5.56 is said to be too low power for anything other than small game.

The round hit Charlie in the side of his neck and dealt enough damage that I would believe a .30-06 could have done it. What makes me question it is that he had people behind him, and a bullet of that caliber with that much energy should have either critically injured or outright killed another person behind him in the line of fire.

Is the actual damage reasonable given it ricocheted off of his vest?

Or given that much power, would it have likely imbedded in the vest instead of ricocheted?
