Update:

We met with the principal and official policy is a club can be political but any event or activity they hold on campus can not be partisan. The club was wrong for displaying TPUSA materials and directing students to the site so he’s investigating and if they continue it will be deemed a disruption and the club will be disbanded.

Daughter told the principal he was wrong for allowing this given the current climate. Said going forward they need to screen displays for approval before the club can display materials and she wants to know what the ultimate consequence will be for this violation. She may try to get the school board to update the policy to state student led clubs cannot be affiliated with partisan political organizations, which this club is a direct offshoot of TPUSA.

Crazy thing is, the principal alluded to the fact that the club is actually a cover for parents that are pushing their ideology through their kids, smh. I’m thinking it’s their way to combat what they perceive as indoctrination through the schools. He said he gets calls from adults who don’t even have kids there. These people are nuts to care that much about pushing their political influence on a high school. And TPUSA is going ham on doing this themselves.
