When I use the coconut oil my scalp be dry as hell, my hair too. It never feels like I put anything in my hair. So do I just use the avocado oil by itself? Help me... Lmao.

if your hair feels dry when you put coconut oil on it, it might be because coconut oil is protein heavy. try extra virgin olive oil instead and see if it reacts the same.

Apply the same way as any other oil lol I just don't use as much cuz it smells like soy sauce

You know I never really paid attention to that at all?
I know lately I tried the LCO method but it seems like my scalp is so damn dry no matter what lately and now that BNE commented that helped with understanding why. Just not using the right stuff in my hair anymore :(

I apply coconut oil in the shower. After conditioning my hair, I slather that shit all over and drench my hair with water. Then twist it but now that I got these locs. I use the JBCO.
