They acting like WNBA players got to play overseas to survive. The average WNBA salary is ~120K. Yes, that's chicken scratch compared to even the league minimum in the NBA. However, the average salary in the U.S. as a whole is ~56K. So it's ridiculous for them to act like they are struggling so much. They could live just fine off their salaries without having to go overseas. The problem is that they believe that since they are pro athletes, they should be ballin' and living as such.
Brittney Griner is getting paid a mil a year, and people really acting like she was playing in Russia because she had no choice.

You seen that clip when Shaq suggested to Candace Parker that they lower the rim to 9 ft to get more above the rim action. She got really disgusted and was like "My daughter can almost dunk a ball with two hands now and her daughter will be jamming just like the men. We don't need to lower the rim.
