It's a nasty culture all around for both the dudes in those frats and the groupies that are willing to do anything for attention from them dudes.

I'm not trying to jump into that battle, but I think the primary problem with your stance in here is that you're not acknowledging that Brandy was a child when everything went down. If she was 20 and complaining about how he took advantage of her or how she only had sex because she didn't want to leave him, I don't think you'd be getting much pushback. You're fighting this battle because she was 16, so even if she was making her own choices, most people here acknowledge that those choices were made by someone with an immature mind that shouldn't have been put in that position to begin with.

Two things can be true. There was probably some dude her age who didn’t have the fame and power that the 22 year old dude had and she curbed him for that.
That was her choice.
Same way the high school girls used to use the older dudes picking em w cars at school to stunt on their female counterparts.
The other wrong is…my guy was 22, you had other options brah. Dating a 16 year old sounds like a bad idea

I was in high school with chicks Brandy's age. Juniors and SRs and I was a Freshmen and I knew many chicks who fucked with older dudes. Came back into my face and fucked with me...These chicks knew what they were doing. Nothing about being a child was on these chicks minds.
Most had cars, some were dealing with dudes at Southern University...
I gave an example of some stuff AP and I experienced at a time... this was across the many high school we were dealing with from across the state and city.

I'm not saying it right, what I'm saying, these chicks who were Brandy's age in the late 90s, early 2000s, knew what they were doing and they are not innocent.

That's all I'm saying. I'm not blaming the sun, the moon nor the air for their own actions. They knew what they wanted and they did what they wanted. I'm not here to say was it right or wrong, I'm here to say that these chicks should be held accountable. That's my point

The point that I'm making is that, she's not innocent.

No one is denying that what you're saying is true. What they are saying is that those chicks are young and dumb as high schoolers typically are. That's why we have statutory rape laws because younger people make bad choices. They know what they are doing, but they don't always realize how bad the decisions they are making are. That's the part you seem to be ignoring.

My point was that there are monsters and predators out there, and you want to protect people from them, but some people don't want to be protected until it's too late.

No, they should still be held accountable for their actions just not to the same standard as an adult.

In a situation, like this where a 16 y/o girl is being taken advantage of by a 20+ y/o guy, we should be able to acknowledge that she made bad choices but also acknowledge that the older dude was able to manipulate her the way he did because her immaturity made her more prone towards making bad choices. It also doesn't help that she didn't seem to be getting any good guidance from the adults in her life at the time.

Now mind you, I have a post in here that I posed on Friday stated what my family would have done to the 16 year old so that this offense wouldn't be repeated, and what would have been done to the 22 year old.

Mind you, I said that Both should be held accountable for their action NOT just the dude as 2 or 3 poster in here stated. I even said they both should get the same charge, (my take)

I even gave another example of a robbery being had to show that the 16 year old gets held accountable and @loud said that both parties won't be punished the same, but both parties would be held accountable. No harm

Now you have said that she should be held accountable for HER ACTIONS, GOOD OR BAD, in this case Bad, she should be called out on it...in which AP, nor Black nor Seadog did...Sea asked me how should it be done as to say as if he's never heard of this before...holding someone for their actions.

That was my entire point and I got it across in a 3rd grade format. Niggas kept ducking the part about holding Brandy and teens like her accountable for their actions.
