Normally, I like to try and put up people that are lesser known or unknown, but I feel like these two people don't get enough credit given all the shit they accomplished in their lives.

Fuck whoever burned his house down when he died. Who knows what we lost because of that act.
 


I know he was not born here in America. But I feel even if your not born here, once you come here your subjecated to the treatment all melainated people often go through. So anytime a melainated brother or sister fulfills a dream or does something that they view as successful. I like to celebrate that.

Black soldiers probably got the rawest deal of all of us. That might seem crazy, but I really think its true. Imagine fighting in a conflict as brutal as WWI or WWII and not even getting recognition for it let along paid or benefits.

Harlem Hellfighters (All black man group that fought on the front lines in WWI longer than any other American group)


6888th Battalion (All Black Woman Battalion that served during WWII)
