Biden told progressive Dems this afternoon tuition-free community college is likely going to drop out of the final reconciliation package

Then there was Bob Mendez.

At the end of the day. No one politician is to blame for this shit, not even the president. It's the system. The shit is broken. A man who basically owns a coal mine shouldn't be allowed to decide when the country will move away from coal. That's bullshit. Politicians shouldn't be able to take tons of money from corporations and then turns around and vote in favor of those corporations. That too is bullshit.

As long as stuff like that is allowed, we're always going to get screwed over.

That’s all I was saying. You was trying to make it a point that it was only them two. Hell no. They all took positions and let the bill get chopped in half twice. They are all guilty. They knew going in those two would be problems. That’s why Biden kept repeating he had republican friends. That he could work with them to get the bill done. Why else would he point to the republicans when he has a super majority?

If Joe Manchin is such a problem why is he the chair of energy and natural resources? Does that even make sense? Biden nominated his wife to a federal postal job a few months back.

These people get rewarded to play this game.

The state of the country wasn't on them too, but stalling the bill out was those two. Again, that's undeniable, they were literally the only two people who hadn't signed on. But that's neither here nor there. We can agree that the system as a whole is fucked up.
