Even if the the whole neighborhood is like that why would you go to hang out in a area where you know shit could pop off at any minute? Especially when you got so much going for you

Hes basically the nigga who you grew up with that had a good life/a way out coming up but still wanted to hang out with the street niggas.

He put himself in the situation that got him killed

Now compare that to Caine who started out a disadvantage but still showed signs of wanting to do better.

Caine was raised as the single child of god fearing black folk ( 2 parent household) and decided to leave that environment to go be a menace 2 society

Its not like that for everybody tho. Coming up me and my brothers always had different sets of friends. We really didn't start hanging out like that until after we all got older and were finished with school.

+ If we go back to you saying DB was older then it really makes you wonder why Ricky was hanging out w/ them in the first place

In Caines situation he was just dealt a bad hand from the start. The niggas he was surrounded by from a baby weren't shit.. INCLUDING his parents so what you expect?
 
Caine was removed from a toxic situation and then decided to become a toxic nigga when he had the opportunity to become something else

His grandparents raised him to not be in the streets, he brushed them off to be in the streets

Caine grandparents lived in the projects... Like the real projects. The ones little Leon run in snowfall... Caine had to adapt... But was willing to leave it all

He wasn't willing, he had no choice but to leave after he was kicked out of the house for doing what y'all like to call real nigga shit
 
Real talk, Caine probably wasn't going to do nothing but ruin Jada and her son's lives in a new location. They was probably better off with dude dying. On top of that, he went out at least trying to save lil man. His death was probably the best thing he had ever done with his life.

Ricky grew up in the 60s during the 1980s
And still didn’t succumb to his environment and wanted to better himself
