Niggas wouldn't even rate this bullshit if they didn't use the jokers name to dress it up.

I'm ready to bury the hatchet...

I was clearly wrong about the nigga Freeman....

I been missing mad threads and it's posts like this that let me know my energy is not missed... Cuz that's EXACTLY how I feel about this movie...

I don't forget shit...I recommended "one flew over the cuckoo's nest" to these fucktards and another poster recommended "clock work orange"... And mad posters found raging bull intolerable...

Niggaz don't fuck with mental health movies like that.... And joker as a mental health movie was just not fucking good......

I mean it had moments.... Like 2 or 3, and a damn good monologue at the end.... But a good movie it was not....

The ONLY reason the world checked for it was cuz they dressed it up and called it joker....

And the ONLY reason people accept it because they have to use THEIR OWN IMAGINATION to connect the dots....

The reaches in the joker thread to connect the real character to the one on the movie were amongst the greatest reaches in American cinematic history.

this my thing

even if you didnt know that Logan was based on the "old man Logan" iteration of him in the comics, the fact that as basically a standalone movie, it was just a good ass movie. Him being a comic character was just window dressing, however, i do like what they did with this version of him compared to the xmen movies

To Freeman's point, to Du's point and many others, Joker wasn't anything amazing, not even from a cinematic perspective imo. There isnt a memorable scene outside of the ending which to me was a "AHA, bet you didnt see that coming" moment.

So black folks still throwing mental illness to the side and saying that’s some white folks shit.

Smh lol

Mental illness wasn't addressed. If you think that was a realistic take it's a bigger issue at hand. It's plenty of people out here dealing with mental illnesses. They don't murder people because they've had a rough go. Celebrating a movie that empathizes with that while trying to cover it up in Jokers make up is some bullshit. And offensive on multiple levels.

Now Joker had a "message".....
