I think Joker is more culturally relevant than Logan. Logan had great storytelling and action packed, but Joker was dark and subtle with elements of dark humor thrown in.

I cussed out my homies for weeks after I pointed that shit out and one of my niggas called it riveting and the rest said I was doing too much. I was big mad. Posted clown pics in the group chat repeatedly from November until new years. Then I let it go.

All it did was celebrate fuckery. Mental health issue doesn't make it ok. Doesn't mean anyone should empathize with the character. I'm not even delving deeper into it than that.

There's a lot that's not talked about and mental health is one that is frequently swept under the rug and ignored. Joker gave a first person perspective of how a psychosis patient may view things and some of the difficulties people with those problems face. Joker literally bottles it up until there's not enough space and he unleashes it in a violent way that's an exact regurgitation of his environment. There's still parts of that film you still aren't sure are real or were figments of his imagination.

Logan was great but didn't have that. Logan was about Redemption and trying to find meaning in a world without any. Even if it had to be superficial (in the case of the little girl). Amazing storytelling but Joker was far more culturally relevant than Logan.

You suffer from psychosis? I think that statement is just ridiculous and dangerous. The whole tone of the film is dangerous. Still waiting for someone to tell me what was amazing about the story. And what the fuck does it have to do with the joker? Niggas wouldn't even rate this bullshit if they didn't use the jokers name to dress it up.
