Man you gotta dissect the parts of each singer, shid niggas break-down, MJ foot-work and strength and his nat to play defense with his shoulders and shit, they break him down on why he's the best, I feel singers have to be done the same way.

You can't be a great producer when all you use are samples, you can't be a great singer and the only note you can sing in is C Lol

Like the other day, someone hit me with the Wanya is a better singer than KCI and I was like hell no and then I started to really listen to them as singers and I'm like shid, Wanya aint no punk.

Pull back the outside shit and just focus in on both as singers, Wanya aint no punk Lol
 
All groups had great singers, I'm not sleeping on any of em. But with that said, focusing on one aspect doesn't accurately compare the groups. That's liek saying "Slick rick is a better storyteller than jayz so Slick Rick >> Jayz" nah b lol


With everything included, Johnny Gill doesn't even belong in the conversation with the best male rnb artists.

Even that is besides the topic at hand which is , which is the best rnb group.

Jordan wasn't a better 3 point shooter than Curry, but I'm still not putting Curry over Jordan, it's just an aspect that Curry is better than Jordan at, but everything else, the core things of making the player great, Jordan got it over Curry (the core of things, attributes that makes a singer great, monotone-pitch, range, ad-libbing, emotions, etc) the meat and potatoes of what makes up the player or singer, you gotta line them up side by side and see whose better at what, IMO.

You just supported my point perfectly, shooting is the "meat and potatoes" of playing ball, but curry is no where near Jordan status. So we can talk about shooting all day if u want, but it's a moot point.

Breh Ray Allen is a better shooter than Jordan too, Hell, Steph Curry's Daddy was a better shooter than Jordan, Mark Price, Dale Ellis, etc, I can name a bunch of ppl that were better shooters than Jordan, but them dudes aint seeing Jordan in the overall picture when you again like I said factor in the aspects that makes a player great and being a great shooter doesn't necessary make you a great player in certain cases or let me not use great, let me say an Elite player. Again, that's just one aspect that they were good at, being a good shooter doesn't necessary make you the best elite player.

I just don't see how NE as a collective, that has music spanning over several decades is considered 2nd tier to a group that broke up at the height of it's popularity.
