I dont have to put myself in their shoes theyve said it themselves bleek and other ppl close to jay said in interviews that the mood in rocafella was really grim after ether. Paraphrasing they said something along the lines of "it was a really bad time for us after ether dropped"

Facts but Nas was also heated at some radio show because he couldn't hang the jay dummy doll. And there he expressed his frustration of Jay mentioning his bm.

I'm sure they were pissed behind closed doors cuz those are fighting words.

Same as biggie not responding publicly to hit em up. But you know that didn't sit right with him with pac speaking about faith like that.
