Welcome To aBlackWeb

Their first CPS case worker was in on it. That's why they was shook when the black lady showed up.

NO,when the white CPS agent came to get Larry from the black family and she said the "Police are just here to make sure nothing happens" ,Then the black lady was dolo at the Lesbian's house.

I know. The cops were with the case worker that knew the white ladies. They were in on it but the black lady obviously wasn't

Van and Darius fucking is literally being discussed on the official Atlanta sub Reddit and Twitter.

It’s not the usual shtick that happens around here.
They always do that here. They act like stuff they don't see is the biggest reach in the world, when half the world already made the same reach

Darius said that’s Tupac. He said something like Tupac fled to the Caribbean but what most people don’t know is that there is a Caribbean in Europe or something shit lol

Damn I heard him say something about Dutch Caribbean, I should have turned my volume up cause that nigga be muttering

It’s been so long I can’t remember

When is the last time paper boi even rapped? I feel like a lot of him getting on and the process was glossed over a bit. They in Europe off of his career too…idk I feel like the mixtape circuit, putting vids out, doing shows back home etc wasn’t touched on enough. But I mean I guess if his rap career isn’t the true focus but rather managing it..I guess it can make sense

I consider ep 2 really ep 1 and to me it was only okay so just gotta see what goes from here. But if I wanna count both Eps I don’t think it’s necessarily off to a great start but a mid one once you get past the enthusiasm of being reintroduced to everyone again
he's never actually performed the song, which come to think about it, i think it's intentional

i was just reading about this on the Ringer the other day

also, i look at Atlanta as an anthology but not in the traditional sense.

I feel like the Teddy Perkins ep in S2 could've been all by itself without Darius and no one would've batted an eyelash, but Darius was just a medium used to tell that story.

From Hiro:

“I’m sure there are people who are angry also, but I don’t blame them,” Murai said. “I think people expect us to be surprising at this point, so I hope people enjoy the things they didn’t expect from that first episode.”

He also explained why they didn’t immediately pick up with the core four’s European adventure. “In our heart of hearts, we’re all contrarians and a little bit of a troll,” Murai offered with a chuckle. “We just knew that that’s what people wanted, and in some ways, that’s what we wanted to see too. But there’s something nice about having to wait just 35 minutes longer before you got to see it.”

Of taking the quartet overseas, Glover added: “Honestly, we just wanted to show how ‘Atlanta’ is a point of view. It’s a city, but it’s also just what made me and my brother [Stephen Glover]; the point of view is very specific. Also, that the world is kind of predictable, like, you’re gonna see the same things.”

While society at large might be “predictable,” fans of the five-time Emmy-winning series know that “Atlanta” is anything but.

“It keeps you on your toes, because it’s really in the moment,” Stanfield commented about the opening half-hour. “It mirrors real life in that way.”
