ANOTHER GOOD/BAD PARENTING MOMENT

Soooooo...its been documented in the ABW files that some of y'all are against whoppin a child's azzz when they cut up.

Some have said that parents should use other means of punishment. I give you Exhibit A...



What are y'all thoughts on this? Is this an acceptable form of punishment?

The father stated the "Pros" (son hasn't gotten in trouble, behavior improved, etc.), but what are the Cons?

What are the negative long term effects for the father punishing his child this way?

What's his point? "I'll prove I'm a good parent by video taping it"? It makes him look weak. Good parenting bears fruit as children grow into adults and make decisions on their own using the guidance given to them.

My fam never tried to humiliate me. If I fucked up I got punished. The end.

I love seeing people deal with backlash because they decided to air their dirty laundry.
