no, Google was trying to get Apple to adopt RCS Messaging platform which would basically mean highend videos and chats between Android and Apple. Apple hoe ass said no to it and not do it even though it will be a industry standard. Google Messages between each other tho is basically imessages between Androids.
With that said this company has plans to change all that.

I got the s23 ultra almost felt like I could've kept my note 20. Especially with me losing my SD card slot
I switched from the S22 Ultra to the Iphone 14 pro max. I thought I was gonna regret it when the S23 ultra dropped, but it doesn't look like there was any upgrades form the 22 to the 23.
Made the jump from the pixel 4a5g to the Pixel 7
my biggest gripe is them getting rid of the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. if you dont have a tempered glass protector on, what is you doing, but either way, even with touch sensitivity maxed out, the screen fingerprint reader is useless. I've had to go back to using a pin or face unlock.
Still getting used to touch navigations for everything when im so used to home buttons on the screen.
but the camera is next level as always and the other bells and whistles that come with pixel phones are still there
