I don't know what the percentage is, but there were a bunch of black women that voted for Kamala just because she's a half black women. People who vote like that are fools. Those are the same women that were accusing everyone who didn't vote for Kamala of hating black women.
What these "92%'ers" don't even get is that even if every single Black person in this country that's 18 and over had voted for her she STILL would have lost. It's very simple math: We don't have the numbers needed to put someone in office on our own. Kamala needed a fuckton of white folks to vote for her, and they had already said "no" to her in 2020 so what made anyone believe that those same people wanted her in office this time around???
Trump won narrowly. I believe Kamala could have won. She just made some very stupid moves during her campaign.
You gotta remember that there is still an electoral college though. I know everyone wants to get rid of it when shit doesn't go their way but it does exist. The problem is a lot of these states that have barely any people are over-represented. Same with the fact that they all get two senators.Nope. You gotta remember, the vast majority of Black folks in this country are concentrated in the deep south, aka red states.
This is where Black folks are concentrated:

And this is how those states voted:

Remembering that we're only 42M strong and even fewer are of voting age, we simply don't have the numbers necessary in enough states to flip them blue and get those electoral college numbers up. We are completely dependent on whitey to get a candidate through that we want. For example, Georgia's population is ~11M people, of which only 1/3rd are Black. Them southern good ole boys overwhelm the vote out there. Same for the rest of the south: The southern states have the highest percentages of Black folks in the country but our percentage of the population in those states doesn't even approach 50% and not one is even 40% aside from DC which is 46%.
All that rah-rah-rah about how she coulda got in if only more Black folks came out is high grade wagyu bullshit.

I wasn't talking about solely with black people. She lost Arabs/Muslims because of her decision not to distance herself from Biden's Gaza policy. She lost some progressives by palling around with Republicans rather than just pushing left policies. Trump barely won, so everything that Harris did to lose voters mattered.
No, Trump decisively won thanks to the electoral college. He barely won in the popular vote, this is true, but absolutely won in the electoral college 312 to 226
That's true, but if I recall correctly some of the EC votes he won were by a pretty slim margin. So again, the votes that Harris lost because of blunders made a difference.
I wouldn't say that. There is ONE state with a big town or two with a significant Arab population and that is Michigan and we all seen my homegirl's brother with the "i eat ass" face in a CNN clip on here trying to justify voting for Jill goddamn Stein when Trump is about to turn their homeland into Asbury Park.
If you're Palestinian and the Biden administration is currently selling bombs to the people that are murdering your kinfolk I can 100% see why you would have trouble making a decision there but the thing is... Trump is not only gonna sell the bombs but he's going to ethically cleanse you too. This shit is not rocket science.
It's not just that group though. Trump doesn't win because he has this huge majority of people voting for him. Trump wins because his competitors don't usually inspire enough confidence in the masses for them to get out and vote. Kamala didn't have to turn Reps to her side. She just needed to get her base and the independents to get out and vote for her. All I'm saying is that she made a series of missteps that resulted in people staying at home.
There's also some reports that the Reps cheated, but that's another story.
Put plainly... Biden should have never even pretended he was running again and let a real primary happen... or he could have taken an adderol or two before that debate and held himself down. Either way... nobody wanted Harris. But... I would take a Harris presidency over a Putin / Musk / trump presidency every time and that's what that last election was about.
Considering the presidential election is a contest of the best marketing, i also believe this is the main reason Trump won. The irony in this is that its not that Trump ran a better race, but that he essentially took advantage of the past four years of free press that the Left gave him. Kamala was pretty invisible as VP, and seen as a known loser that no one wanted in the White House. Then just about every time we saw Biden on TV, he was either endorsing Ukrain or malfunctioning. By election time it was too easy for Trump as the left had buried themselves.I agree 100%. Even if Harris wound up as the candidate, I think she would have fared better after a primary. Part of the criticism against her was that she wasn't selected to play that position. Either way, I do think a lot of blame rests on Biden for running as long as he did and the DNC for cheating Dems out of a primary.

What confuses me is that they literally spent four years trying to put Trump under a jail, failed, then expected Americans to give them four more years to possibly address things people thought would be addressed the last four years. All while sorta promoting the very things people were angry about (Ukrain funding and immigration).
Obviously Trump is every bad thing the Left has said about him, yet they somehow managed to look like a worst alternative. That's really not the voters fault imo.
There's no one thing, there's a variety of factors. But considering Kamala lost Biden voters from 2020, swing states, Trump making gains in multiple demographics (some in record numbers), I wouldn't attribute Trump's W mainly to maga loyalists. There's a bigger picture here.I don't think Trump ran a better race. He said and did a lot of dumb things. He always does. The difference is that his followers are a cult at this point. No matter what he does, he won't lose them. The Dems don't have that kinda following.
