The thing about not really talking much is the one thing that drives my wife insane 'cause she's a talker. I don't talk much, never have and that's always been something everyone around me knows. Get a lil liquor in me and I'll ramble on about some shit, but in general I'm cool on talking unless it's something that needs to be said.

That's what I was getting at in my first post but you clocked me lol.

Like I was just wondering if anybody was a beta as a kid but then grew out of it.

I think the older dudes here, especially the married ones, can speak on being all those things at different times. I'm sure not all of yall are running the show at every second of every day. You're conceding some things, taking lead on others...

I've been pretty steady in who I am. Maybe the only person that would challenge that would be my moms but that's 'cause she consistently mis-read the reasons I did shit.

but nah i wouldnt expect people to be real about all that kinda shit

I got certain shit and people I let slide YEEEEARS ago that im still mad about.........as far back as middle school....i could be in the shower and just randomly think "mannnn i shoulda just spurred that mf" lmao

i absolutely had to grow and devolop in certain areas to be more assertive and sure about myself and other shit

i dont think anyone put straight up alpha cuz its just not common....not your whole life

my family/marriage structure now is "different" imo.....I've had some troubles with pride and gender roles and all that kinda shit, but we grow every day
