Airplane etiquette: recline or not to recline?

I have to disagree. The "minor" change can be huge for some. Nyc and la are different in a lot of ways. The lifestyle is different.

Do you say that for all in state travel?
I have been to both they're different but it's not as big as you think.

London to Paris is 2 hours or less that's a completely different lifestyle, culture, way of living, political view, quality of housing, style of driving, language I can go on.

What about someone from montana that moves to nyc?

Those are too way different places. Politics, lifestyle, food, land, history, etc.
London and Edinburgh are different countries but we almost vote for the same government to an extent eat the same foood to an extent the history has been merged. Speak the same language

You are not going to learn about different cultures from a sub culture
