Artists should just be smart about it. Shit's inevitable, so they might as well just make it so that they get paid when this AI shit starts generating revenue.

I mean the shit isn't completely unprecedented. If someone paints a picture of an artist promoting a brand, clearly that's not the real artist, but that person still has to pay that artist to use his/her likeness.
