Back when they first dropped I had the music on replay of course. I meant to say Jeezy fell off

Ross did grow as a artist IE His last cut (which I like a lot).

I really enjoy this album on some hip hop shit. The way Pusha went at the beats. This 23 minute joint cinematic as fuck.

If you niggas ain’t let this shit ride in your car or some decent speakers, do yourself a favor. Thor despicable. This nigga talking about it’s his top 3 of the year and he love it but it’s only 3/5. Dawg make that make tf sense lol

Daytona is not Blueprint in any form or fashion


One is a classic and the other is a good album.
 
One has been referenced and played for over a decade

The other has basically just was a good 7 track album for this year and already has started to fade.

One gave Heart of the City, Takeover and Song Cry along with countless references.

Daytona gave us none of that.

Its a good album. Thats where it stops

Pusha T is 40+ and does not connect with the ppl that listen to rappers like Migos, future, drake.

The new generation def gon prop up a lot of these artists as well as they should but you mentioning Pusha does not work with them

The fact you're putting this bullshit of an album up there with blueprint and illmatic, proves your opinion on hip hop is not to be taken serious. You lack the understanding of what embodies a classic album and it's mfs like yall that has it to point to where the words legend and classic are meaningless. Half of yall barely know the history of hiphop but wanna name shit classics.
 
I don't think Daytona is a classic but I'm amazed at the reaction to people sayin' it is. The sorta mediocre shit niggas call classic or even say is dope these days and this is what causes a stir?
 
For the past few years the only albums i've been seen called a classic are kendrick's albums, 4:44 and there might be 1 more i'm missing, but i think that's it.


What trash is being called classics?

I've seen Future, Drake projects and that garbage Culture bein' called classics by multiple posters

DS2 can be argued as a classic. U can see it's influence to this day. Most people hate drake on here.

I don't really fuck with Cube's first album, but it's a classic for different reasons. U don't have to like Future, but his influence on the game has been significant whether u like the shit or not.
