There were a few when I was coming up but that was tha 80’s…Rickey Henderson was that dude Frfr but then tha Cardinals had a team of fast niggaz…Willie McGee, Vince Coleman and Ozzie Smith kept pitchers and catchers on their heels all tha time lol

I hated when tha game shifted into a strikeout or home run mentality…made tha game “boring” to those who weren’t real fans of tha sport

But these new rule changes got tha game moving faster and tha ball is in play a lot more…I think it’s gonna help get new fans

Players like Acuna Jr., Ohtani and De La Cruz are must watch

Went to see Souls of Mischief on their 30th anniversary tour for 93 Til Infinity with one of my sisters last night. They had Ilajide from Clear Soul Forces open for them. He ran through some joints, even did CSF's "It Gets No Better" by himself, but his song "Issa Nice Day" had everyone in the spot yellin "ISSA NICE DAY... BITCH!!!".

Souls came on and rocked the shit, but it wasn't the show that was the highlight for me, it was the people that came to see it. There was big ass hillbilly Jimbo lookin dudes in there with Hiero logo shirts and hats, corporate whites, Latinos, Asian broads young and old, skater dudes, school principal-types, whole families, one white family even brought a toddler with them... people you would never believe knew who Souls was, and they were all in that room gigging together. This shit would fuck up any perception anyone has of who really loves hip hop. At one point I was standing next to a chubby 40-something Rebecca, not even a Becky, and this chick knew ALL the words to every one of their songs. They even pulled out "Cab Fare", which was dropped from the album and she was right there spittin the lyrics. Shit fucked my head up.

I can understand people from all walks of life knowing songs by Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Drake, or the like, but not Souls of Mischief, they've never been a household name like the aforementioned artists. Either you know who they are or you don't.
