Only reason why it never showed anyone getting murked for real was 'cause it was an 80's kids show.

This is why Robotech was so groundbreaking. It was the only cartoon in the entirety of the 80's where niggas died, screams and all, and didn't come back. They were dead-dead. It's also the only cartoon back then to show an interracial relationship as well as an openly alcoholic character.
