80% of Single Men Are No Longer Interested In Dating, Why?

After seeing all the bullshit people go through now, I don't see how anyone could like the single life. I didn't like it that much when I was single, and shit wasn't nowhere near as bad back then.
Men and women don’t work through anything

We’re starting to base our relationship on happiness and happiness is a fluctuating emotion that comes and go

so if if one of people are unhappy at the moment, they try to end relationships and it just doesn’t work like that.

Also, I think a big part of it is where in a sex craze era and that directly correlates with relationships and to add on the selfishness that’s being pushed throughout western society. It’s all about me me me instead of the collective. It hinders relationships, and communities as a whole.

Social media is playing cruel trick on folks that the grass is always greener on the other side and therefore we don’t have resolve as a community no matter the race

We fold so easily when it comes to relationships of all kinds

True. It's crazy too. Friendships have ups and down, but people don't want to throw their friends away after the first time they have a falling out. I don't understand where this idea came from that you're always going to be walking on clouds in a marriage. People have just gotten ridiculous nowadays. Imagine actually thinking that back in the day made it 40+ years of marriage with no trials or tribulations. lol

I don’t think people feel you always have to happy in marriage but a lot folks feel our grandparents and parents were way too unhappy. Also a good amount of people grew up with divorced parents or unmarried parents. It’s easy to view marriage in a negative way. But I also think they are just the loudest.

So many people can date and get married and pay no attention to social media.

There are people who literally throw away decade+ marriages because they hit a rough patch and experience a few months of unhappiness. I don't know what percentage of marriages are made up by people like that, but it's definitely not uncommon to hear people, typically women, give up on marriages because they weren't happy at that moment.

I honestly think that’s a myth with the grandparents and parents being unhappy thing of course they were somr of them, but I feel it’s over exaggerated and a crutch on why people are not sticking in relationships.

But I can’t agree. A lot of us grew up around adults that wasn’t married, and therefore sees no value in marriage on top of you have red pill content preaching to the use on top of music, preaching to the youth that women ain’t shit this recipe for bad behaviors and undesirable actions for relationships

My marriage these last two years, maybe even longer has been full of ups and down, but this last year, especially these last couple months has hit rock bottom for me, and I never been so hurt frustrated in my life. I know I’m the cause of much of this strain on my marriage, but I have looked in the mirror and evaluated myself and come to terms that was me and the things I was doing or better yet not doing that root cause of it

Shit been so tough on us.

But I’m to blame and I understand that

Oh it’s definitely over exaggerated and I agree with everything you say. My dad was a rolling stone and didn’t have his pops and could’ve treated all his women better. But he didn’t inherently believe women ain’t shit and they out to get you like the red pill guys.

Then sometimes I think women are guilty of judging current guy by the last guy that did them the worse and a lot of women will intentionally ignore red flags and then complain about it.

Do people who grew up with unmarried parents really not see the value in marriage. Some of the strongest marriages feature people who didn't grow up with both parents in the household. Part of their motivation in building good relationships is so that they didn't put their kids through what they went through. I guess it all depends on the person.

Well do you think your issues are fixable and are you willing to make the necessary changes to make things work?

Marriage ain’t easy

The best thing is this is making you a significantly better person than before

I’m confident you’ll be able to show her that too

Get into therapy. Individually and/or couple's therapy. Shit can work wonders.
