I’m going to closely monitor Washington because they doing anything right now

Well I know what they’re doing as far as young talent (grabbing as many young prospects as possible to see who rises to the top) but it’s hard to do with so much competition and overlap with players at the same position and having vets on the team

If anything despite being one of the few wings on the team and someone who can actually shoot, Kispert doesn’t exactly fit with this roster being the age he is

He’s not younger than 25 and he’s not older than 30

I’m a season away from them needing to trade Sarr

If they do some more bullshit like having him play with AJ and Tre Johnson and like Keshawn George I’m demanding a trade for him

A few days ago I was watching a YT video where the dude was ranking all teams according to their young core. Washington was around 15-20ish.

Some people shouldn't be allowed to provide basketball commentary.

I gotta admit, I am kinda enjoying this video by Sam and Bryce on Game Theory about underrated trade targets..

I usually don't enjoy a lot of Vecenie's NBA (I like his draft stuff better) commentary and I especially miss coach Spinella being there to offset some of Sam's takes. This video has been pretty solid though.

I hope Bryce Simon becomes more comfortable and not as agreeable with his takes this upcoming season.

Hardwood paroxysm did a wonderful objective article on the pelicans off-season

In case you wanna read it. Didn't disagree with a single point that was highlighted

Bryce not gonna change man lol

Also it annoyed me how they did not bring up Highsmith tearing his meniscus

The fact that vecenie mentioned him starting the season let me know he wasn’t aware

Also I liked what they said about Anthony black but the Magic should keep him for now

Idk about Tyus defensively and he’s small

I agree with the statement above 100%

Any competent GM isn't going to want to give up a ton to take on that deal and that injury history for what Ainge is gonna want as far as asset returns.

I also agree with @MrBeef that the best player they would be getting back as Castle, wouldn't be what Ainge would consider as a good trade. Especially with the draft assets most likely being garbage if health is on the Spurs side.

I think the good thing for yall in that situation if you decided to go that route is yall would have the leverage, like yall don't have to do that deal...you could easily walk away from that and pursue something else

I really dont know what the market is for Lauri but if Ainge is expecting some 4-5 first round pick package I dont see that happening

Maybe his value will be up though after Eurobasket and he starts the season off well

Orlando should be a much better situation for him than it was in Phoenix....Much more like Memphis where he excellent as a backup

Washington was a disaster for him too when he was asked to start

Memphis and Orlando let him play within a great defense and just let him do the things hes good without being asked to do too much or being exposed by playing with other bad defenders

Him and Anthony Black should compliment each other well in the second unit

You like both Kyshawn George and Bub Carrington?

I always thought Bub was overrated, but I am not even thinking about these guys. Not primarily anyway. I am thinking mainly about Sarr, Tre johnson, Will Riley and to a lesser extent AJ Johnson.

The way dude did it was teams with 23, 24 (as long as they 25 or under) yr olds who have already proven themselves got high points, but teams like Washington with a lot of very promising but unproven 19 and 20 yr olds got virtually no points.

And that was just a stupid way to go about that ranking.
