Form to me is Embiid being a top 30 player, and PG a top 50 player. I don't expect either one to be a top 10 and top 15 player no more

If you could just get both of them to buy into being high level role players they should be really good

Say they're at 75-80%....Embiid gives you 20-25 minutes and PG gives you 25-30

That should be good enough to get the conference finals

If they just ride the Maxey/Edgecombe wave thats probably a 1st or 2nd round exit which still could be considered a successful season

Sixers are a 2nd round team

Edgecombe a rookie at the end of the day

Idk about these guys in the playoffs (hard to tell)

McCain unreliable but grimes is

Embiid is a toss up

Paul George nobody has confidence in imo

Idk I’m not seeing them advancing deep in the playoffs

Could be wrong but Idk

The East is very much wide open

The Maxey/Edgecombe duo has 1-2 round ceiling

If you add Embiid and Paul George and they're at least 75% that team can get to the conference finals imo

It sounds good and I understand, if I was a Philly fan thats probably what I would prefer.....but if they're still serious about doing some damage in the playoffs and its not just about vibes than they will need PG and Embiid....they still provide things Philly doesnt have right now

Having a big wing like PG just for defensive purposes alone would be huge for them

Without Embiid and PG, they out the first round imo. They talented but young.

Embiid and PG can slow shit down in the playoffs, even if they don't make the play, their presence will calm the youngins.

That said I cant count on Embiid or PG. So let's see.

I feel like whatever he adds will be nullified by what he’s going to subtract

Touches for Maxey, rotation changing, etc

Idk my PG faith is at an alltime low now lol

I agree, I said 1-2 because they could possibly get the right matchup but more than like they would be a fun tough out in the first round which wouldn't be a bad thing for them if its just Maxey/VJ

Thats why I said if they bought into their new roles as high level role players lol


If comes in expecting to run a bunch of inverted pick and rolls with Maxey than no thats not going to work....but if he can focus on being more of a facilitator, spot up shooter and defending his ass off it could be really good


Paul George as like your 4-5 option is much different in terms of expectations
