I don't think that helps. With the tax aprons teams are not gonna want to move for that much potential dead weight. Maybe if he has a nice start to the year they can get a team that needs a push to bite on him at the deadline. That's if his body holds up.

Thats if Utah even wants lavine. That's potentially 3yrs max dead weight salary on your cap. I don't think there is a deal that actually exists for lavine atm.
