They won’t just due to what Ja brings from a marketable standpoint but competitively I would liken it to the kings without fox

Nothing would change much

Well I think if you have JJJ/Bane/healthy JA...There is some real upside for that team and there is a path to being very competitive

With Sacramento there was always going to be a hard cap on their ceiling just because of how the team is constructed and who the best players are

too bad Ja never healthy lol

I like seeing footage of players like 5-8 years ago

You see how much faster and more athletic they were and it makes you realize you took them for granted since you see them now and still regard them as good

It’s almost like you couldn’t see the decline because it’s so gradual

You know I think it can be a good analog for comparing how players and certain skillsets age

Like I wouldn't be surprised if Trae Young/De'Aaron Fox have a similar trajectory as Harden/Westbrook

(I know theirs are some distinct differences)

The elite creation and playmaking will always translate(Harden/Young)....when the athleticism starts to decline and you aren't super efficient it becomes much harder to stick around, have value and you have to be in certain situations(Westbrook/Fox)

We'll see if this is the case or not

When a player turns 30-31 that’s when you need to start focusing on their finishing % and stuff like FT rate

Then you have to see how much that player has historically relied on their athleticism over their skill and stuff like if that player can actually shoot to maybe dictate how they are going to age

Like I knew Westbrook age well and idk how it’ll be for Ja but right now it’s a similar trajectory

I knew Blake griffin wouldn’t age well and I see him in zion

The other leagues are at the 32 team range so fuck it. I would say they need to do some realignment if they plan on bringing two west teams in (Vegas & Seattle).
