Told y'all about Randle 🤷🏾‍♂️
Its not as bad as mfers are making it.

This Knicks team is exceeding expectations, and so certain things are being put under the magnifying glass.

Randle got signed to a Knicks team that had no future. As a Knick, he made 2 allstars, and in a few days will be announced to his 2nd all nba team.

He was a part of making the Knicks respectable.

The Knicks arent trying to build a champiomship team around him.

We appreciate Randle for being a big part of the Knicks resurgance the last 4 seasons, but its time to move on or significantly reduce his role

While I always appreciate your thorough and objective analysis, this is not the discussion I was trying to have b lol

I have nothing against him but I knew he would come back down to earth. And that's not me making a captain obvious remark but Randle problem is he overvalues his role and contribution that might not be as bad in game 53 of 82 but he's not playing teams on the second night of a back to back or 3 games in 5 days type shit.

He refuses to be a facilitator when nothing else is working for him cause he believes he can just shoot himself out of a bad shooting night.

And this might be a hot take but the worst thing he has done in his development imo is trying to be a 3pt threat. He is made imo to roam that middy area and straight at the cup. He's going to be a more advantageous position to be fouled, be in better rebounding position and he's going to give more effort to chase a missed shot from those areas instead of watching a 3 clank off the side of the backboard and then jogging back up the court on d.

Just my two pennies b

All facts fam.

My point is that its not a huge deal.

Not like Randle was the missing piece and Knicks thought we were gonna win a ring with Randle, but now we see Randle aint shit.

Lmaooo.

We all knew this about Randle.

Here is what happens next. Either we trade Randle as we continue building this team to compete, or Randle gets to stay but because a star is brought in, his usage rate goes down a ton.

Loud Knicks fans gon be loud knicks fans. The rational Knicks fan aint making a huge deal with Randle regressing other than being disappointed in losing this series.

Did Knicks fans seriously feel they could’ve beaten Miami?
I did.

3 out of 4 games have been close.

This aint me shittint on yall man but Miami aint really been playing good.

Spo just a great coach. The Knicks 3 best players have all the same strengths and weaknesses. So Spo decided to play zone and pack the paint. He forcing Knicks to make 3s, and Knicks been bricking.

The credit goes to the Heat cause they been executing to perfection.

That said though, give those Randle lazy pass turnovers back, and we most likely 2-2.

yall proving yall the better team, but the shit been closer than yall making it seem.

Don’t worry I wasn’t asking rhetorically

I just wanted to know to gauge the disappointment of how the series has went

And on the flip side of what you’re saying, while it’s been close you guys haven’t proved you can win a game if butler is playing

Just don't be jackasses tonight on the home floor I don't give a fuck what happens after that

I think what hurts most for us Knicks fans is not that our expectations were high but that the organization has finally cemented that we’re one of those upswing teams that are just a piece or two away. And as that evolution has taken shape we’ve found ourselves in a once in a generation type situation where as a lower seed we would only have to play 1 of the top 3 seeds enroute to a potential Finals appearance.

Of the remaining teams we had left in front of us, with Milwaukee gone, we were:

2-2 vs. Philly
3-1 vs. Miami
3-1 vs. Boston

Just feels like we’ve missed an opportunity that’s been completely out of reach for us for two decades now. We haven’t even really been in contention like most other teams have at some point or another. We just needed the Knicks to compete and make the other teams earn their W.
