SAS just being saying shit but I actually do like the idea of Towns in New York

I know Knicks fans probably don't want him and I know he can't be your best player but I'm still higher on KAT than most people these days and think he's very talented

That nigga soft.

Nah fam. Im high on KAT too, but fam is the polar opposite of the identity of this team.

Knicks just need to not panic and take their time until the right star player comes up. Until then, keep making steady improvements and draft good.

Randle got to go though. He did his thing here in NY, and im grateful, but its time.

Also I won’t let these guys get off the hook from this Randle talk

6th man of the year candidate Immanuel Quickley has been shit these entire playoffs

Fat face Mitch also sucks ass and hardly has improved as a player the past 3/4 years

He’s a high quality backup big masquerading as a starter

He makes shitty decisions, gets bad positioning a lot, can’t block out, can’t hit free throws, and can’t do anything but catch the ball near the rim

Those two players are worse than Hart and Hartenstein

IQ you can reluctantly keep but get rid of Mitch

He could never be javale McGee

I think the change of scenery would do him some good and could be a case of the teams identity rubbing off on the player

I think the Knicks actually have the infrastructure and players in place to kind of hide Towns deficiencies and weakness but I understand wanting to be patient and go all in on someone else

Yeah, but the the thing is performance can be improved upon with experience if the mentality is right. RJ, Brunson, IQ, Grimes, Mitch—they carry themselves like dogs / winners. Only a Knicks fan would see the interviews & postgames all season long to know exactly what I’m talking about but it’s evident. For example, the Julius response I posted last page and RJ’s response for comparison.

You can’t have your team leader being a damn mental midget in the most critical times EVERY time. That’s on Julius.

Knicks fans came into this season with low expectations hoping to see experience gained and direction developed. Now that we’re here nobody is pissed that the Knicks are losing a second round series. We’re pissed that our all star and supposed leader can’t keep himself composed enough to will his squad towards a better effort, despite being out coached. Hold the team together well enough to make certain that the Heat feels the weight of this round mentally and physically for the remainder of this playoffs.

This isn’t his first time mind you with this shit. It’s two playoffs now for Julius.

I completely agree with everything but just miss me with Mitch

Even if his mentality is better than Randle (which is debatable considering Mitch has little to no responsibility in the grand scheme of the team so he has way less pressure on him) he’s not getting any better than he is right now

Solid, fair & reasonable game 4 analysis. Also take note, this is how real Knicks fans view things. Same as the great group we’ve always had on these boards.

I feel like Knicks fans by and large are misrepresented. As big as NY is the fair weather fans tend to take hold of our narrative. Most of the idiots that hit socials don’t really know the team like that.

In addition I’ll post this in advance of tomorrow on behalf of legitimate Knicks fans:

All of this is stuff already gone over ad nauseam by Knicks fans, Knicks twitter & Knicks outlets. Matter of fact this is actually the sequence the tweet I posted on the last page was referring to specifically, in live time, when he said Julius is one of the most fascinating players in basketball history.

Actual Knicks fans that have supported the team not just in our few good years but all of the bad as well are arguably the smartest basketball fans in the NBA.

EDIT: And I knew a lot of that, down to the wording and referencing when Randle comes back on camera, looked familiar. Dare I say homie might have been inspired by or plagiarized his analysis from a Knicks fan twitter thread.

This thread was several hours prior to the one posted by the Heat cat and is far more detailed, in-depth and nuanced.

Aye man, Knicks just need to forget about all that and win tonight.

Forget about winning the series. Forget about coming back from 3-1. Just win this game and leave it at that.

And this has been said a bunch already so I dont want to go into details, but Randle lost us the game yesterday. The game was close for the most part, Knicks even got it down to 2.

But Randles turnovers and some of his shot selection was horrible.

We dont need Randle to be great to win this game. We just need him to play controlled and pick his shots and not give them extra possesions.
