@TTBF
@Gray Matter

I fuck with Toronto, you would be hard pressed to find more pro Raptors posts from a non Raptors fan than me

But I don't understand the reluctance to trade Siakam and you could still keep OG and do a soft reboot around him and Barnes

Idk, Masai used to always talk about competing and not being a treadmill team and now yall are doubling down on running it back except yall are replacing Fred with Schroder which is a massive downgrade

Just don't get the point of chasing a first round playoff loss and that's if everything goes right

Where do u see this team finishing this season? Play in? Top 6? Or better than the Pelicans is good enough so @Dwayne can shut up?

Idk

It's not about wins or where we finish in the standings.....I want the product on the court to be better and see our young players take a big step forward, nothing more nothing less

We won 22 games last year and have been a bottom 3 team that past 3 years......the bar is very, very low

Give me somewhere between 10-15 added wins with real growth and development and I would be more than content with that

Haven't listened to the latest pod yet but I seriously don't get what's so bad what we did....and if what we did was so bad, what was the alternative?

If you look at our whole offseason where did we miss?

Needed a coach....got arguably the best coach available

Of course we wanted Wemby in the draft....still end up with 2 top 5 prospects

Jamss Harden wanted to come back to Houston and do Harden things.....Rockets told him no

Rockets needed a point guard and veteran leadership...Got the best point guard available that was realistically going to change teams

Needed defense......got an elite versatile defender in Dillon Brooks. Yes we overpaid more so on the years than the money...but supposed 3 and d wings typically get paid around 20 mil per year. Look at Deandre Hunters contract lol.

Jock Landale.....basically a one year dear for a backupcenter who showed showed some flashes

Jeff Green....probably a top 5 locker room guy which is big for a team that's young and immature

We're a vastly better team than we were st the beginning of the offseason and this was always more about betting our young guys to take a step forward and putting them in a better environment to succeed

It wasn't perfect by any means but I'm cool with what we did.....I don't have to watch Daishen Nix play basketball anymore so that alone makes this a successful offseason

The Rockets had a Great off-season and Great FA signings, you guys had a bunch of cap space that you had to spend, and you still have cap space to get someone else.

One signing that I missed wad Dennis Smith Jr to Brooklyn for the minimum

Very good value

Good rotation backup point guard and played at an all defense level last season

Wish he would've got a little more but I'm happy for him
I watched way too much Hornets basketball last season and Dennis Smith’s defense really really impressed me.

But dude is still a terrible shooter. If u are a point guard shooting in the low 20s from three, u are getting the minimum or out of the league.

At the moment I think Denver had a horrible offseason

A lot of holes on this team with not a lot of resources to fix them

Going to have really depend on the development of Zeke Nnjai, Braun, Cancer and Peyton Watson

No real back up center

Nuggets are a very thin team

Let’s see

Trade Jaylen brown to the blazers (nah)

Trade Powell, zubac, Morris, can’t be that many picks? (Already said they not trading PG)

Blazers should only be interested in mcdaniels or ant (not happening) and wolves don’t got picks

Not seeing it

Pelicans would be viable though
