OG
So you wouldnt wanna trade for him under any circumstance?Nah probably not
We would get him in the proper shape but I don’t think Zion’s body can take 65+ games even if his mins drop to 30 a game
that athleticism a gift and curse

Once Zion sees that beach, it's over. Not asking as a joke. Dead ass questions.
Do you think Heat culture can keep Zion on the court 65 games a season the next 5 seasons?
if yall keep him in shape like yall do other players
Not at this junctureSo you wouldnt wanna trade for him under any circumstance?
I feel thatNot at this juncture
We’re at a pivotal crossroad as an organization
We’re at a time where Jimmy is 34 in a few months and we only probably got 2 more years of serious contention with him so I don’t think it’s smart to finally have decent assets for the first time in 3 seasons in FRPs and players like Herro and Jovic and an expiring Lowry contract and a higher value Duncan Robinson
Don’t think we can gamble on Zion right now instead of getting a proven star talent to take us over the top
YeahI feel that
The Hornets haven’t made the playoffs since Barack was in office how are the Nets and Hornets in the same boat?Yeah
Like if I was a team like the nets or hornets I would trade for Zion because he would boost the fanbase and make people actually go watch those teams and if it doesn’t work out it’s not like those teams are seriously competing anyways
I’m acting a bit contradictory since I said I wouldn’t trade scoot for zion the other day but thinking on it some more I think Miller is the better pick for the hornets
Facts.Yeah

Because the nets don’t have marketable players and lost Kyrie/KD/Harden and Zion would make fans want to go to gamesThe Hornets haven’t made the playoffs since Barack was in office how are the Nets and Hornets in the same boat?
Yeah but I don’t think the Knicks need to gamble on Zion eitherFacts.
If im the Knicks, i would take a chance on Zion but only for a low low cost. The Pels gonna ask for like 3-4 FRPs, and in which case they can keep him
EhhBecause the nets don’t have marketable players and lost Kyrie/KD/Harden and Zion would make fans want to go to games
Lamelo alone for the hornets when his ankle is actually okay isn’t making spectrum center packed every night either
Also again, like the hornets they aren’t contenders at the current moment and have no pressure to be one
Nothing is exciting about the nets as an organization
Y’all have bad marketing, bad colors, bad logo, no real mascot, a boring arena/crowd (court is fine), no cool courtside fans (like Mr whammy not doing it chief lmao) and no stars
Good luck coming to next season with BROOKLYN bridges and Nicholas claxton and Ben Simmons who nobody cares or expects anything from
Y’all need Zion as bad as the hornets do
What are we giving up in this hypothetical trade?Nothing is exciting about the nets as an organization

Only so long you can play brooklyn by fabulous, grindin, and luchiniThey play pretty good music though
Idk didn’t think about it as the outgoing pieces aren’t the main point of the discussionWhat are we giving up in this hypothetical trade?
I told you before in our Simons discussion that the Nets are trying to remain competitive and I imagine that the Pelicans want to do the same. It ties into the discussion imo. We don’t have anything they want. Obviously Bridges is off the table.Idk didn’t think about it as the outgoing pieces aren’t the main point of the discussion
I’m confused. What does the nets wanting to be competitive have to do with this discussion?I told you before in our Simons discussion that the Nets are trying to remain competitive and I imagine that the Pelicans want to do the same. We don’t have anything they want besides Bridges and Bridges is off the table so getting a Zion would be difficult. In an ideal scenario we want to pair Zion and Bridges together.I’m confused. What does the nets wanting to be competitive have to do with this discussion?
