the contract year part is what worries me. For the most part, this season is already a success. Knicks came in and improved from last year, realized they have a true superstar player, and if healthy, they would make some noise in the playoffs even though they never were favorites.
But with OG wanting a near max, these injuries can either help the Knicks maybe get him at a chepaer price, or they might have to risk giving him 25-30% of the cap and hope the elbow issue isnt lingering.
