I'm not saying you....but people who routinely watch shows like First Take will probably think this is great and groundbreaking when in reality there has been excellent basketball podcast/content with real discussion for years

You’re 100% correct. There are tons of really good podcast and websites dedicated to real basketball discussions. I also think Bron doing something like this will definitely get that crowd you’re speaking of to watch and actually learn more about the game.


What’s kinda sad is you have shows on NBA radio mocking Bron and Riddick doing this type of podcast. I like the fact that they aren’t always eating up everything Bron or the stars of the league say and do, but something like what they are trying to do shouldn’t be mocked in my opinion. Unless it is super surface level and shallow

Man, I hate how people keep hyping up these failed dunks. Cause that's what it was: a failed dunk.

If someone tried to dunk from the 3-point line in the slam dunk, and didn't touch the rim but the ball went in, y'all giving dude 10s all around?

Or take a non-sports example. If someone takes triple the amount of courses in college and ends up flunking out, but just barely, y'all hailing dude as an outstanding scholar?
