What are you not understanding? My point being is that those players I named FIT their cities/market. While Zion was never really a match or fit for NO.
You said Zion doesn’t look like he’s from New Orleans lolWhat are you not understanding? My point being is that those players I named FIT their cities/market. While Zion was never really a match or fit for NO.
You said Zion doesn’t look like he’s from New Orleans lol
That’s some shit you would hear in a barbershop
I’m all for shitting on Zion but I gotta draw the line at that
Thats valid. I think he was gonna face the same weight/injury issues yr 1 and maybe yr 2 but a better organization would have been monitoring him better off the court and would have reeled him in sooner.I feel like NO wasn’t the right fit. Even if a player isn’t from a market they at least look like they could be from there. Zeke could’ve been a Detroit nigga, Magic looked like he was born and raised in LA, AI looked like he could’ve been a Philly nigga etc etc. Zion made more sense in NY. Even Ja looks like a Memphis nigga, he’s embraced the city and the city embraced him. Zion never really wanted to be there.
What would have to change for Zion to fit in NO? Or you can’t fix that?im talking about FIT. Stop pretending to not get the point just to argue lol.

Can it still happen or nah? I mean the pelicans don’t even feel like his teamThats valid. I think he was gonna face the same weight/injury issues yr 1 and maybe yr 2 but a better organization would have been monitoring him better off the court and would have reeled him in sooner.
I think they just expected him to come in, take over and for it to trickle down the roster. Zion not that guy tho. They didn't have the right coaches and vets around him.
I promise you I cut that off by half time and slept like...lol getting your doors blown off by the Jazz makes for a bad morning
I think being in a place he wanted to be could’ve been a motivating factor too.Thats valid. I think he was gonna face the same weight/injury issues yr 1 and maybe yr 2 but a better organization would have been monitoring him better off the court and would have reeled him in sooner.

Why he didn’t ask for a trade? Too much pressure? No leverage from being fat, horny and hurt?I think being in a place he wanted to be could’ve been a motivating factor too.
Ingram is not a superstar. Zion was supposed to be a transcendent superstar that would become the face of the league. Ingram was supposed to be his Scottie Pippen to supply some help so Zion wouldn’t have to carry the load (What would have to change for Zion to fit in NO? Or you can’t fix that?
Does Ingram fit?
He passive aggressively implied that he wanted out.Why he didn’t ask for a trade? Too much pressure? No leverage from being fat, horny and hurt?
Okay gotchaIngram is not a superstar. Zion was supposed to be a transcendent superstar that would become the face of the league. Ingram was supposed to be his Scottie Pippen to supply some help so Zion wouldn’t have to carry the load () like LeBron had to in Cleveland.
Zion never embraced NO, so it was pretty much DOA from the jump. Plenty of players ended up in places they didn’t want to go. For example Steph wanted to go to NY but GS drafted him but at least he embraced GS and now is an icon.
Why not be more direct? Soft?He passive aggressively implied that he wanted out.
No. I don't believe he's capable of making the commitment or that new Orleans front office is capable of making the necessary moves it takes to win a championship. Can it still happen or nah? I mean the pelicans don’t even feel like his team
Andrew Bynum lolNo. I don't believe he's capable of making the commitment or that new Orleans front office is capable of making the necessary moves it takes to win a championship.
Maybe his career is salvageable in another city but his trajectory is Andrew Bynum, tyreke Evans rn. He'll be gone soon imo.
I wouldn’t call it soft. I just think he didn’t want to be the bad guy by demanding a trade so soon into his career. Why not be more direct? Soft?
Isn’t that being soft though?I wouldn’t call it soft. I just think he didn’t want to be the bad guy by demanding a trade so soon into his career.
