What is this???I love towns
I don’t see him much these days but that’s my guy
What is this???
That’s where I disagree with you, KAT 100% thought he was looking cool doing that, lol.Seems like a Dominican from central NJ who doesn’t worry about looking cool my brother
This is your second lol this year. Didn't think you would use it so early in the year, you got like a whole nother 354 days or some shit leftI'm sick of this from you lol
Not just his defense, but spacing been better with him too.ESPN ass stat but OG defense is legitimate
Not just his defense, but spacing been better with him too.
Small sample size but let me get this analysis off.
And ball movement been incredible too.
This isnt because RJ and IQ were bad. They killing it Toronto. But I think we had too many iso scorers. Between Brunson, Randle, and RJ, there was too many players dribbling to get their own shot. And when they werent there, IQ was dribbling.
This trade gave us some much needed balance. Now Brunson and Randle can still be their selfish selves, but when they swing the ball, instead of RJ catching and creating, its OG awkward dribbling ass who is too scared to dribble and he swings the ball to Hartenstein, who then swings it to Divecenzo. Idk if this is just due to the small sample size, but ball movement and assists been great since RJ and IQ not there.
I wanna stress again this isnt a knock of them. Its just about fit and balance. The youngins been killing in Toronto and giving the raps exactly what thet need.
Add to that Grimes got his confidence back. Add to that Duece been killing. Add to that Hart back to doing the intangible things that gets wins. Add to that Harteinstein playing on DPOY level the last 5 or so games and we here.
Its all coinciding with the OG trade, but its not all things OG is doing.
Idk how long all this is sustainable for, but hopefully we rack up more wins before regressing to the mean.
I'm just talking shit lol but yes the spacing is much better. OG isn't a scorer, creator, nor has much offense in general so Brunson and Randle usage has increased. Ironically Raps ball movement and assists are up as well with the 2 new recruits who added more offensive help. OG has helped but, it's IHart who brought a huge change to the spacing even more. Thibs has finally backed off and utilized his passing more and if you notice he's been setting off and leading more fast breaks which causes more open threes. He's improved his 1 on 1 defense and I will credit his bond with Mitch for some of that he definitely picked some tips up.Not just his defense, but spacing been better with him too.

I agree that in general an elite perimeter defender who can also provide spacing is valuable for any team.A lot of people call OG overrated and wondered why Toronto held on to him the way that they did.....someone who can shoot 40% on spot up 3s and play elite level defense on multiple positions is very valuable
I've been on record for years saying that I think he's the best perimeter defender in the NBA
Idk of this version or IHart is sustainable man. Way too much energy and intensity. I hope it is though. And if it is, trade Mitch and start IHart going forward. Hes not as good as Mitch is on the glass, but his defense has beem comprable, and he isnt dead weight on offense.I'm just talking shit lol but yes the spacing is much better.
