@toheeb27 why is towns not an allstar?

21 and 9 on the best team in the west can’t get you there?
He should be. He has been solid so far this season. best investment i made.

@Sony Montana I need your boy Mark Williams to kill it this season. I have him in all my 4 money league teams.

Surprisingly, I have your boy Towns in 3 of them. I understand the risks, but still think he is a bargain in the 3rd round.

Mark Williams has been great too, but unfortunately has been injured for awhile now.

I agree that in general an elite perimeter defender who can also provide spacing is valuable for any team.

Not gonna sit here and act like OG is the second coming, but he fits the needs of the Knicks perfectly. Team needed defense and spacing and a low usage guy. Now OG might not like being a low usage guy, but he needs to gtfoh with that. Lmaooo. His ass is a low usage guy. Just catch these balls in the corner and shoot, and cut to the basket for easy dunks.

This gives us spacing and more ball movement. It allows Brunson and Randle to play their brand of selfish ass basketball, which aye man, long as we winning, I cant get mad at.

I mean that's what it comes down too, accepting and buying into your role

As much as I like OG I never believed he could be this high usage on the ball 2-3 option on a team type player

But what he does do is cut, move without the ball, knock down 3s at an efficient clip and play elite defense....if he's engaged and fully bought in he can really excel and be a huge piece of what New York is trying to do

Yeah it’s unfortunate he’s been hurt as much as he has and as you said he’s been good when he’s played but because the consistency isn’t there it’s hard to build on performances

I would’ve watched hornets games if it meant seeing him and Miller

Idk of this version or IHart is sustainable man. Way too much energy and intensity. I hope it is though. And if it is, trade Mitch and start IHart going forward. Hes not as good as Mitch is on the glass, but his defense has beem comprable, and he isnt dead weight on offense.
Bad idea. Mitch and IHart provide different looks for our defense it's a luxury to have both.

I don't disagree, but if we can have Ihart really play at this level defensively, then I think we need to figure out a back up for him that is a stretch 5. IHart aint an offensive liability but he also isnt an offensive center.

Im thinking lineups where we can throw our 5 in the corner as a catch and shoot threat and let Brunson and Randle cook inside.

And at that point, itll be too expensive to keep all the Centers.

Just a thought.
