I'm here for Chelsea slander! That was the worst performance of the season and I will argue it was up there with some the matches from last year

I like Stevie G and wish him every success in management, but we can't deny that there's levels in football management and Villa absolutely lucked out getting Emery who is top draw.

I even thought it was harsh to sack him when he was at Arsenal, and if he got the same time as Arteta has, Arsenal would be even better today IMO.
The guy finished 5th in his first season and got to the Europa league final. He didn't even make it to Xmas in his second season.

Meanwhile Arteta was allowed to come 8th, 8th, 5th before getting 2nd last season.

It would had been interesting to see how he would had got with more time at Arsenal... I think Villa suits him though, hes took a team void of confidence and near the bottom and quietly gone about his work... The fans and club all appreciate him too...
