Interesting player. I liked him when he was at Coventry City, but did not think he could play as the lone number 9, very good at carrying the ball though. One of the rare ones that Brighton gave up on too early.

Now 25, maybe he is physically more matured to play as the lone number 9 now. I will keep my eye out for him. Chelsea are linked to Diomande, so i was planning to watch more Sporting anyway.

I haven't looked at the details but a break away from the FA and self-sustainability was always the way forward. There's nothing but growth potential with the WSL and women's football so it makes sense. Maybe now Yanited will treat their players with some value
