you’re still missing the point of folks saying the Cavs gave up too much for Caris. SMH

it doesn’t matter if the Cavs (which they were last year and barring injuries will be this season) are going to be better than the Pacers. The Cavs were bidding against themselves for an okay player and they overpaid.

the Spurs are rebuilding and was able to get two unprotected 1st rounders and an unprotected 1st round swap for a borderline All-Star player. That’s a solid to good trade for the Spurs. It makes no sense for this inclination of the Spurs to hand out a big ass deal to DJ, unless we feel we are on the cusp of being a continual playoff team

You of all folks should understand how crazy it is for teams to trade unprotected 1st rounders. Ainge (with your Celtics) fleeced Brooklyn a few years ago and Golden State has gotten a couple of super high picks because of too light of protections on picks.
We’ll see im just not a fan of tanking and trading away quality players for picks with no game plan. OKC has been winging it since Russ left and got lucky with CP3. MOST of the time this shit doesn’t work and guys get fired. I’m entitled to my opinion I’m not feeling nothing the pacers, spurs post Duncan, and thunder are doing let’s see if any of those teams will be around the playoffs in 3-5 years
