I'll simplify it as much as I can... Steph, Klay and draymond been there since day 1/rookie contracts so it works different. You can be more flexible when keeping homegrown players as long as you don't mind paying luxury tax.

Lol at effectively evaluate trades nah I just don’t agree with giving up a young player for picks especially if that team isn’t top 5 in the draft, giving up on young talent for picks is trash to me and when the thunder, pacers and spurs all misfire im spinning back on all y’all

You can go over the cap to re-sign your own players. You cannot go over the cap to acquire players from other teams.

What you detail is impossible both under the rules of the CBA but also just as importantly the Knicks don't have the assets to do any of the shit you proposing. There's always the ESPN trade simulator, go try that before you post anymore of your "ideas"
