Just curious, coming into the NBA, what were u expecting from him? Dont read too much into the question, just curious.

He is playing almost 10 mins less so far this season, so it makes sense his counting stats are down. Its good to see his shooting percentages have improved so far.

Just last year I wasn’t really…cognizant of two things and how they will affect his growth as a player

His age and height

His age makes it very easy for him to have fierce competition at the guard spot, and his ceiling is a lot lower and his size makes him very limited in what he can do outside of being a pesky on ball defender

Mitchell’s def rating is like 115 or something

he’s great a disrupting players’ dribbling but is he shutting anybody down ? (This is also from an eye test)

last year I was cool with trading fox and letting hali and mitchell be the starting backcourt so I was expecting him to have a decent trajectory as a player (I think expecting too much going forward)

He’s getting better as a shooter but he doesn’t get to the line and when he does it’s not good shooting there

I think now he’s a good 2nd guard to come off the bench but that’s it

if I’m the kings and I draft a 20 year old guard next draft am I gonna keep looking at the now 25 year old 6’0 guard I have that’s mediocre offensively?
